LisGo – Potentials for Regional Policy Instruments 2007-2013

The study assesses the potential for Regional Policy Instruments 2007-2013 to contribute to the Lisbon and Gothenburg objectives for growth, jobs and sustainable development based on a set of socio-economic and environmental indicators on a regional level.

It includes a comprehensive analysis of the National Strategic Reference Frameworks, Operational Programmes and ex-ante evaluations for the period 2007-2013 and their relation to National Strategic Reference Frameworks, as well as the National Reform Programmes and National Sustainable Development Strategies as the operationalisation of Lisbon and Gothenburg agendas at the national levels.

The project’s aim is to assess the role and importance of these Strategic Guidelines in prioritising and focusing regional development activities in a way that provides for more coherent and targeted policy interventions.
